AmarilloJim: "We will be on the west end of Quetico around Eden island until the 24th(weather permitting). If you see a red SRQ16 or red old town come say hello. We enter 9/21 and plan on coming out 9/28." Will do! Going to fish west end of Beaverhouse first. If it is slow there, I’ll be jumping over to Quetico or Cirrus. I’ll be in a red Bell Wildfire.

We have fished the eastern end of Quetico Lake (the general area about 2 miles west of the south turn toward Conk) several times on our trips back to Beaverhouse and have always done well fishing walleyes from reef areas around there. We would also catch an occasional lake trout while trolling through this area as well. Most of these trips were July-August.

Although I have traveled through these lakes, I have never seriously fished these two lakes. Doing a base camp trip the last week of September and was wondering which lake you would recommend. I know they are both good choices. Will be targeting Walleyes also. Also, anybody did any serious fishing on west end of Beaverhouse?
