Welcome! I wouldn't mind hearing some tales of canoe trips from days gone by, especially what you have seen change from when you were tripping. Thanks!.

Jackfish: "properly posted".....but it didn't work. I'm easily confused. I clicked on it and it worked......?

It appears that you linked to a photo on google drive? It gives a 404 error for us! If you did a right click, maybe you sved the page as a photo, instead of saving the address?

Have been spending mid-May to late September north of Quetico mostly fly fishing for smallmouth bass the last 7 years or so during my retirement years. At 82, my canoeing days are pretty much over. I do really miss it, but I've found plenty of solitude on most days and the numbers and size of the smallies are more than enough to satisfy me.......and probably close to 70 percent of my fish are on top.

My first post......hopefully I will get this link right: North of Quetico

Longtripper... welcome! Glad that you found us and decided to post. And 100% credit for properly posting a link, too... except the link didn't work. Give it another try. I look forward to reading about your fishing north of Q.
