I bought fishing licenses for my daughter and me pre-Covid, then the border closed for the entire 2020 season. I contacted the Ministry and requested a refund. Beware, they send you a check! Cashing a Canadian check in the US is a difficult and expensive process. MY bank charged me $25 to cash it. Many banks won't cash it.
I think I will sign it over and send the check with my daughter's refund to a friend who owns a business in Red Lake, if he will agree to it, and buy some stuff from him.
