As I was out shovelling my driveway today in minus 40 degrees where celsius & fahrenheit collide, I couldn't help but pray for global warming. It also occurred to me that I could stop walking on water in less than five months and start paddling it. I can't wait to get back to the boreal forests, the pristine lakes, the mega fish and the swarms of bugs.

Quite a difference in temperature between Calgary, Alberta, and Pisgah Forest, NC. I just came in from a mountain bike ride, during most of which I was wearing a T-shirt. 69*F right now... But I'm also dreaming of a Quetico paddling adventure in 2022. Happy New Year, all!
