We came out through the B Chain on July 2nd, going upstream. Was not a problem. Water levels had been dropping hard all week. We were on Russell Lake for four days and you could literally see the water levels change from one day to the next. The portage from Bisk to Pickerel had some water on it, but I think that's normal for that one. It's probably dry by now.

I saw a Facebook post with a photo showing the Beg-Bud portage/pull over looked like you could almost paddle it. --Goose

Just checking to see if anyone has been through Pickerel and the B lakes in the last couple weeks. We only have seven days so not sure how far we plan to go. May take it easy in the narrows and the B lakes and just enjoy the area and not push to get deeper into the park this trip around.

Pickerel is still high but getting back to normal. I could see a small amount of beach in the areas that had sand. I was in at Stanton Bay and never went further east than that though.

Even the portage in Pine Portage Bay and Dore had more beach area and we’re easier to find on the way out at the end of our trip. Deax Rivière was at nicer levels. 3 easy beaver dams to cross and one to paddle around.

I was not in Bisk, Beg, Bud. I’d call the park office and ask them. They were super helpful prior to my trip with planning!
