The "Deux" is a paddle to paddle and a half deep. 5 beaver dams....2 submerged, 3 with chutes....all 3 chutes can be floated downstream but only one can be paddled thru going upstream. They have been in 9 days and have not had much for bugs. Some ticks early along with some pecker gnats, BUT....nights have been cold . The woods are now super wet and Temps warm next week so, I suspect a bug explosion.

Kip and Sunny are on Keats tonight and should go thru DR tomorrow on their way to Pickerel Narrows. They have gotten drenched over the past few days....
Inches of rain, so the DR should be very paddle worthy I suspect.

Mosquitoes haven't really picked up but the black flies swarm as soon as temps reach the 60s. I just came out of McAree on Sunday after 7 days of rain, wind, and cold temps. Water levels were definitely coming. Rebecca falls were roaring.

Same conditions for myself on the Deux for the time period of June 3rd thru 13th.A couple submerged dams and a couple to pull over or pull thru.Water levels throughout my journey were full and easily navigated. This includes Stanton Bay to Lac Dore,Dore to Scripture island,Scripture Island thru Lonely Creek and up to Jesse, and Jesse thru pickerel narrows.Bugs on the other hand, well mosquitos were out in full force all day everyday except when the wind blew. But that is to be expected in June for sure.

Fishing was good. You had to work for them but I got my share including some DELICIOUS Lakers!!

BUMP

Am hoping to read about any recent info about Deux Rivières condition. From the amount of rain up there this year, one would think water levels are still above (well-above?) normal. Heading through there in a couple of weeks. Any G2 would be greatly appreciated
