Depending on water levels you might have to pull or drag the canoe a bit, portage along the shoreline etc. There is a bit of a pond before the portage. Very pretty route.

Yes.
There is a short portage to look for on left when the creek becomes too tight. It's on the left, and will take you to the small lake before Jeff.
