No LT in Rawn, but I caught a 24" smallie a couple weeks ago. A beast. I've had good luck with walleyes there. I caught the slam in Art in two hours about seven years ago.
Buckingham is good for bass, pike and LT. It's my favorite lake. Been there ten times. Usually am there when you are going. I was the artist in residence for Quetico this year, but could only use it the first two weeks of September so I went early. Best campsite on Rawn is the one back and on the point on the left.

We've been to Rawn a couple times. There are three main campsites on the lake. One on the first island as you come into the lake from the narrows, another on the island in the middle of the lake, and a third at the far east end of the lake.
For two people, any of the campsites would work well. I'd probably lean toward the first one. We camped here on one of the two trips. Kind of a three-tiered campsite with a good east view of the lake and a nice landing area.
The middle island campsite is awesome if you have hammocks. Trees galore. You'll have to check it out, but we decided to pass on this one.
The campsite on the east end is pretty nice. Sloping up from the water, but flat on top. Landings aren't as easy as the first site, but doable. Nice views to the west from here.
Funny how fishing goes sometimes. On our first trip to Rawn, we seemed to catch walleyes everywhere we went. Not big numbers, but always some fish. The second trip was far tougher. Could have been weather-related (cool temps, low pressure and rain). There is a reef by the island that is worth jigging, but it's no guarantee.

There are smallies around the rocky shore to the east of the middle island near a little island. Also check out the flow of water coming into Rawn near Art.
Lastly, a day trip to Buckingham is recommended - beautiful. Art is said to have LT but I did not try for them.

I’m hoping to get some information on Rawn lake. My spouse and I are hoping to spend some time there but have not been to that part of the park. Any information on good camp sites and or fishing opportunities that time of year would be appreciated.
