I'm not aware of any map that shows where motors are allowed on Basswood (or anywhere else, for that matter), but there is information available in the regs that states where they're allowed. You can also call the ranger station for clarity.

What do you mean by updated? I think it’s been several years since any change was made to the rules that govern motor areas on basswood?
The Voyageur maps do show the boundaries with thick red lines. Map 4. You can use the map viewer on their website and I’m also including screenshots here. Additionally, do not cross the Canadian border with a motor or you’ll be in Quetico.
In the first image I use the NW tip of Lincoln island and the small islands north of Washington island as my visual queues:
In the second image showing the border at the edge of Jackfish bay, the site to the west is 1558. I use that as my visual queue.

I saw a map saying you can motorize in jackfish bay, i know thats not close to basswood but I also saw on the forum that motors are not allowed in jackfish bay. Along as basswood falls.

Just for clarity…. Jackfish bay IS a bay in basswood lake. And as the map above shows, you can motor all the way up to the red line.
Additional point of clarity. 25hp max on basswood.
Happy fishing!

Wondering where I can find an updated map for where motorized boats are allowed in the Basswood area.
