I have fished them both quite a bit. Check out my trip reports. I can give you some great spots on Brent for Walleye we caught a lot if fish there in the 20-25" range with a few bigger. We only caught a few on Suzanette but they were LARGE up to 27". Both great trout lakes too Suzanette probably better. Bass were not really hot on either. Great lakes that you could not explore completely in a week!

Our group of 4 will be in the Q June 17th-26th. Beginning with a couple nights on Argo, we're planning to stay in Brent area for 2 nights, pushing east through Burt and Joyce to Kahshahpiwi and down and out through North Bay to finish the route. We will be fishing hard the whole time, primarily targeting WALLEYE and TROUT. I'm sure we'll catch more than enough bass by accident.

Mostly considering fishing and campsite quality, would you recommend staying on Brent or Suzanette? Open to other suggestions as well. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

It would help to know how many tents in your party. A handful of good sites on both lakes. Both have excellent fishing.

I would vote Brent, but either will work. You will be hitting some of the best! Well, they use to be before all the Quetico lakes got over fished.:)

With only one tent, you will have your pick. With the short, easy connecting portages, you can camp on one, and daytrip to the other one. Have fun!
