Had a random thought and maybe one of you has an answer - I understand that you can't bring live bait into the Q. However, what if you turn over rocks for crawlers or snag a crayfish at a portage landing - is it also illegal to use live bait that you found IN the Q?

As a ranger explained it to me, how do they know you found that in the Q? Unfortunately, those critters don't have labels that indicate their origin.
