Caught a 40" northern on McEwen and a few 15-16" smallies in Sept. 2013. A nice site is the south point of the big island mid lake. McEwen Creek is very cool and remote feeling.

August 10th - 18th headed with my son through the Falls Chain, probably stay at McEwen/Wet Lake/Glacier area a couple days, then to Kawnipi.

Any recommended campsites along the way (or places to research campsites). I have been researching, but seems tough to get somewhat current info.

Also, if anyone has experience fishing McEwen/Wet Lake/Glacier area would love to hear your comments.

Will make sure to post a trip report upon our return. Thanks.

1XD - just south west of falls out of Sidney is nice but popular and possibly overused. 1RN on Glacier - about mid-shore on east side was very nice a few years ago.
