Sorry I am not aware of any apps that have Quetico depth contours. I have used PaddleNav, but mostly I use an old Lawrence H20 with the lake of the woods chip.

quote RC: "There is lake depth contour data for only about 5 or 6 Quetico lakes. Supposedly there is a plan to add a few lakes every year, but no solid plan that I know of."

What are the 5 or 6 lakes in Quetico that they have data for now? How do I access this data? That would be great if they did all of the lakes.

Hey QueticoMike, if you go to the, Ontario Fish On-Line site, and click "I accept", you can then search for a lake by Water Body Name. For example, search for Darkwater Lake, scroll in closer then click on the tab for that lake name. You can then go to Map Options on the left and check the box for Lake Depth Contours.

At least, I believe this is what others in this post are referencing. There are several lakes with contours, including Darky, Ballard, Dahlin, Pulling, and others.

Hope that helps!
Josh

How about paper lake depth contour maps? Are these available anywhere? Thanks for the help!

I'm planning my first trip to Quetico this August and wondering if any iPhone apps have contour maps for the Quetico lakes? It looks like the Navionics app has this for the BWCA lakes, but not sure about Quetico.

Thanks for the link jphares44, the lakes on the map are the lakes I was talking about. If you scroll to the upper-right corner you will see French Lake also has depths mapped.

Does anyone know of other sources for contour maps? Conmee and Brent are not available on that website.

I'm fairly certain that the lakes on that map are the only Quetico lakes that have been mapped.

I think RC is right, but if anyone finds a good source to get that info, I'd be very interested to find out what it is. I've been craving lake depth contours for some time, so likewise, I'll post something if I find anything.
