For those who make their own dehydrated meals, has anyone had any issue crossing into Canada with meals including beef you dehydrated at home? I have reviewed the Canadian customs websites and it says it is all fine as long as you can prove the beef came from the US. Has anyone actually been asked this? Do you just save the label from the beef? I ask because 1) I am always "that guy" that gets randomly selected for any unpleasant inspection/search and 2) I don't want to start out my trip by franticly shopping for 8 days of food because they confiscated my meals at the border.

Thanks!
