I would try this Alfredo Sauce Mix

I've never used this product before, but have used several other things from this company.

Traditional Alfredo does not have cream. So that would cut down on some of the fat.

Hello everyone,

I am dehydrating all of our meals for the first time and was wondering if anyone has dehydrated Alfredo sauce before? I am doing it right now and cant seem to get the oil out of it. I have tried flipping it over, wiping it down with a paper towel, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations on this?

Since alfredo sauce is mostly butter and cream, the fat content does make it really hard. You are better off buying a powdered alfredo mix like Knorr. Add powdered milk to it before leaving home and then bring butter for when you make the sauce on trail.

...and you can also use powdered butter when packaging your meals. When using Knorr or other powdered mixes as a meal component, we carefully cut a slit in the package, add the powdered milk/butter to the package, then tape it shut and note the additional water needed at meal time.

Ive been using hoosier hills alfredo mix for a couple years. It’s fantastic. Add in some trader joe garlic infused olive oil and you have a meal worth scheduling at home.
