Has anyone seen these at Costco lately? I saw them a few weeks ago at my local store (Brainerd) but couldn't find them today.

quote Savage Voyageur: "Hey Ragged, what Cosco did you find these at? I'm down in Savage, maybe they are at all metro stores. "
I've seen them at the Maplewood and Maple Grove now so my guess is they all have them. I picked up another box today, pretty much set for next years trips.

I haven't seen them in awhile, I'm sure my wife is glad because I tried to sneak a box in on every visit, my gear room is looking like something out of Dooms Day Preppers lol

Hmmm... seems to me that they were in a very odd place. I think I found them in one of the aisles just past the electronics... at the Maplewood Costco. It has been a few months but that is what I remember.

They may have been a one time Fall purchase and Rochester may not have them because of this?

Wish I had seen your post sooner... just got back from the Burnsville Costco and could have checked there for you. I will try to remember to look next time I go.

Baxter has them as well. They also have Cliff bars. Glad to see an option locally for some of these things since we are kind of limited in resources outside of Fleet Farm and Gander Mountain here.

I know there are a few people who like these so thought I’d post it up, was at Costco this weekend and what do I see them sampling, Mountain House freeze dried meals. It’s a 10 unit- box assortment, 20 full meals, $43, which beats Amazon’s already good price by $6, Cabelas gets $80 for this same assortment. $4.30 cents a pkg, $2.15 per meal is pretty dang good these days.

Both Wal-mart and REI are getting over $7 each for these pkg’s, $8.50 for the chicken ones. This price is even better than the 20% Sale price you see here and there.

It should be noted these are 10 of the larger 2 serving meals, not the slightly smaller (cheaper) “pro-pack” meals, so keep that in mind when price shopping, not all 2-serving MH meals are the same size, you have to look at the weight. Pro-packs are about 20% smaller, these larger full size ones are great for splitting up if cooking for one, I’ve been splitting them and food savoring the individual meals, pack much smaller and way less bulky garbage to carry around.

Anyways just thought I’d post this up, no idea how long they will have them, maybe they have had them before but I’ve never seen them at my Costco till now and I go there pretty frequently.

Thanks for posting this--I had noticed them there, too, but never got around to mentioning it here.

Where did you find them in Costco? I was there this weekend and didn't find them - the kid who I asked didn't have a clue, so he wasn't any help.

I went to the Costco in Rochester, which just opened - so they may not have them here yet. It sounds like several of the Costco's in the metro do have them so I might have to stop at a Costco when I'm there next.

They all seem to have them, but there are odd places in every store, but always over on the food side, normally down one of the dry goods isles. I just bought a few more last week.
