Mine just brought home 5 mangoes from the store specifically because she wants me to dry them! =)

Using citrus powder (powdered after dehydration) makes killer orange chicken. YUM. Mango chicken sounds good... ;)

1st batch of mangoes came off the dehydrator this morning. The wife tells me they're not too dry but they're too thin.

3 mangoes ended up being 5 trays of slices. I'll see about making them a little thicker next time around which may be tonight.

Yum! Do you just dehydrate orange slices (rind and pulp both) and then run them through a blender or what??

Hey guys. Just made a video on dehydrating garlic you my find comical and/or useful. This method can be applied to a LOT of different foods. Grounding/powdering dried vegetables and fruits can lend tasty additions to several recipes as creams, soups or just a dash of powder for taste.

An educational video on dehydrating garlic
