I have done them in foil with butter and lemon juice and baked them on the coals.

Lets say that the water is open on May 21st and a person goes out and catches a Lake Trout. My nephew says we should bake it in the reflector oven. What is tastiest way to cook it?

If we can catch one it sounds like they will taste good. Maybe we can try a couple different ones and let you know what we think is best.

add vidalia onion w/lawrys/black pepper/garlic powder, it is an awesome meal, substitute w/northern if need. and a noodle mix would top it off very nicely !

We've breaded and fried them and used them for fish tacos....very good. We have also wrapped them in bacon and pan fried them.

I like to sprinkle Chesapeake Bay seasoning on them and sear on both sides using garlic olive oil. Don't over cook.
