My wife lost a pound camping! That's a first for us. We brought along some fresh produce; extra weight, but overall no big deal. I recommend bringing those English cucumbers that come shrink-wrapped in plastic. Very resilient and a nice treat.

The Bear Creek Wild Rice soup is amazing - I bring in a potato, onion, and some dried morel mushrooms to go with it and it makes a meal that can't be beat!

Dehydrate your own meals from recipes out of the weight watchers cookbook.

Hot oatmeal for breakfast with some pecan pieces is a great way to start the day.

Trust me, I've considered it, and it sounds like a good idea. I'll take fried walleye morning noon and night. There are other considerations.

Dehydrated fruit( I think that they don't have any point value), maybe some protein shake powder, un-salted almonds, beef jerky,etc..
For a lower calorie meal, and still eat all the fish you want, try any of the Bear Creek brand soups. Minestrone is a big hit with our group! Fillet your fish as normal, then chunk it into bite size pieces. When there is about seven to eight minutes left on the soup, toss in the fish. Less grease for the tummy too...

With all the excerise you get on a BW trip you may consider taking a break from the WW diet during a trip. You need calories on a trip.

We (OK, mostly my wife) are counting WW points. Anyone have any tips for tripping in the BW while still counting points? Snack ideas? Recipes?
