I mix some cilantro, lime juice, jalapeƱo, and taco seasoning in with the cabbage. It vacuum packs very well. Mine get treated to sour cream and cheese, too!

Thanks to all that have posted regarding the fish tacos! I tried them for the first time on our trip last week and it's one of the meals yet! I used about 1/3 chipotle taco mix 2/3 original shore lunch for batter, Bear Creek beef rice, and topped it with Taco Bell verde sauce. Dang was it good!

I would think any type of fish, broiled, baked, fried or grilled would work in a fish taco. I know some people use a little shredded cabbage in with the fish for some crunch in place of lettuce.

It certainly would work but I really liked the crunch of the fish batter fried up.
