I was wondering if any one has tried pine needle tea, also what the difference is between pine spruce and fir in taste of the tea, also how do you prepare it?

I’ve never tried it since I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t like it. I’m thinking gin or extreme hoppy flavors. The only wild teas I’ve made were with raspberry/strawberry leaves, wild mint, rose hips, and/or sumac berries.

All teas are pretty much made the same. Use younger leaves/ needles, steep several minutes in very hot water, sweeten to taste. Here is a webpage having step by step instructions. And I’ve seen that if you make white cedar leaf tea, make sure you decant off the oily sheen since it can be toxic.
