I was wandering around Target the other day, so I could avoid the guests at our house. I saw these muffins from a company called kodiakcakes. Apparently you just add water, microwave for one minute, and you have a muffin. Has anyone tried these? Is there a homemade recipe? Do you need a microwave, or can you mix with just hot water in a mug while camping. Thanks.

For the brownie the microwave is needed to heat the moisture to a steam to bake it. It might be possible to do using a camp stove but then you're practically baking...

Here's a recipe for Rey's bread from the most recent Star Wars film, maybe something to experiment with.

Ha! The first thing I thought of was Rey making her instant bread in The Force Awakens!

My kid learned how to make a microwaved brownie in a mug at school last fall. Guess what he now makes for an after school snack just about every day?

Yes. I'm convinced I'm the last one to know about this trick. But can you just use hot water, or is the microwave needed?
