i love walking through cemeteries and have been spending quite a bit of time searching out ancestors. this marker is not an ancestor, i just thought it was pretty neat looking and pretty ornate for the time it was made, late 1800's.

that is amazing! what a fabulous way to start the day. i could sit and drink coffee and stare at that all day.

Spent the day in Yosemite Valley. Water falls are really running with all the rain and snow this year. Bridal Veil Falls.

Lightroom is computer software that lets you play with color and highlights in the picture. I used it here to take the camera glare off the top of his head. I tried to use it to tone down the reflections in his eyes, but couldn't really figure out how to do that yet.
Trying to find the stars in moonrise photo.
Carver Park - Victoria MN.
Wave. Took the glare out of the wave crest. Took shadows out of some of the rocks. Added fakey blue tones.
South Temperance. Took glare off sky and water. Added fakey blue tones.
Just starting. Lots to learn. Can't really do what I want yet. But fun!
