In WCPP, the quality of a campsite is proportional to the height of the fire ring. This one, not so great.

breakfast sandwich at Nanibijou $8.95. there is fresh spinach, tomato, cheddar cheese, egg, and BACON on a toasted English muffin. the fresh fruit tasted like the middle of summer. I paired this fine meal with a steaming cup of mint tea. while we were eating, the server brought out food to the table next to us and it was HUGE cinnamon roll the size of a dinner plate! there was much laughter at the size, but no offer to share :(

It is much nicer when the valley is clear. mooseplums, as with most of the National Parks it is usually pretty busy in the summer. Hope the crowds didn't distract from there trip to much. Fall is my favorite time. Usually less crowds and the trees are turning colors.

I have many sunset shots but keep coming back to look at this one a lot. Sawbill Lake 2010. Camp is all squared away, food pack is hung, we've talked and joked around the fire after a travel day from Cherokee Lake, we'd seen a huge moose on Cherokee Creek, loon music is active tonight, my last act of the day was to take this shot and hit the sack. Very good memories.

When they are that close to the house they go to a place its always warm, and there's lots of slow mice! Rattlesnake heaven. When they are not in the area of the yard, I just stay out of there way!! Plus, I've never had that happen before so I didn't have a "safe way" to get the snake out of the trap.
