i'm going to send the slides in to one of those places on the web that fix the dust and other crud and put them on a CD
good thing i moved all my photos onto a auxiliary hard drive hooked up to my newer laptop.the old desk top Gateway won't start, nothing happens when i hit the on button, yes i checked all the wires.

with the nasty weather on us and a desire to get more of my thousands of slides on CD's i spent a few days going thru a few box's of slide holders.i have a couple screens one is from a yard sale.that one got the tripod removed and it hangs from the beams in the basement.

there were a bunch that were a total mystery...

the ones of me looking like a kid were a real eye opener!!

hubben..yes i have thought about that but a something that would copy slides and remove imperfections and pump up the color would be really expensive.the $99 ones from Brookstone were a thought but as far as i know they just copy and not fix.

There's a lot of enjoyment to be had in breaking out the slide projector! Have you ever considered getting a slide/negative/film scanner and doing this yourself? I'm sure it would take a great deal of time, but it may be a delightful project anyway.
