Mocha, very cool you saw the black bear... it has been decades since I have seen one!

Here is a Gray Jay checking over our map on Horseshoe Lake Last fall.

saw this little booger on my way back from Sag today, made a quick looey in the road and sneaked up on it. not too big for this late in the season but made tons of noise crashing off into the woods.

decades??? that's just sad! this bruiser was a regular visitor this spring. he enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of dandelions and spring grasses, lived down the hill by the creek and seems he made his way through every burdoch patch he could find!

Maybe he's a Rastafarian bear who's into the wrong kind of grass but hopes the burs will help him grow dreadlocks. :D

It's not a canoe, but it is outside. :) We've got a pair of these turbine DC-3s at work right now.
