Was out of town and missed your post, sorry. Could not have done it anyway.
BTW, any of the ocean inlets down here are great for HOT weather. The cool ocean water flowing into the sound makes them great spots to hang out during scorchers.

Hi Ron,
Sorry, I just noticed this post myself. July is shot due to other plans, but I'd be up for a daytrip somewhere near Northern Va "sometime soon". Maybe in August? there's precious little water in the local watersheds, but we could find a good trip somewhere around here, I guess?
