Had planned to go Sept 1 thru 14 ... never got there. Instead, I was having open heart surgery with complications that put me in a medically induced coma for over three weeks. Looks like I missed some beautiful weather up there. I'm in rehab now; expect to go home in about two weeks. Needless to say, I will not be kayaking for a while. Doc's tell me to expect a full recovery so I hope we can get a trip in together in the spring. -- Cliff |
