I personally have no hurricane problems. Many roads still closed due to sound-side flooding and lots of trees down. Things should reopen tomorrow.

Touching base. OBX2Kayak, how are you and yours? Where I live (about 50 miles west of Fayetteville) we had around 10 inches of rain and lots of gusty wind. Led to loss of power, lots of flooding in our area, and lots of trees down, but I was lucky and none at my place. Praying that you too were spared the destruction and that all those affected will soon be back on their feet. God bless the first responders and utility crews working to get the coastal plain back in shape!

Glad to hear that you weathered the storm without damage.

Hope all that are on the coast will be safe. Thinking of you guys.

Thanks, Shawhh. A few days ago the storm track was predicted to go right over my house on the Outer Banks Saturday night. This morning, it looks like the storm will be a hundred miles or more from me.

Thinking of the folks in Florida and Georgia.

Amen to that.
