Definitly my favorite entry point in the BW. After going in every year for the past 27 years, had to miss this year because of hip replacement surgery. Would have loved to have been in a canoe on Little Indian Sioux fighting the wind. Go when you can and enjoy every minute! We will be back next June, Lord willing, with two more grandsons making their first trip in. Can't wait!

Seems like that's the way it is - headwind in, headwind out. Can't win either way...

Our group of three went in on the 12th and came out on the 19th. It was uphill both ways. Just crazy wind. Only one of those days was a good fishing day.

thank you for the report.

i'm curious what was the issue, i'm looking at a simular route in mid august and planning on swinging through that camp site, on the return. how rough was the river. i get it, sometimes when you have wind , you have a back current. that holds you back.

Nonstop wind, huh? Did you eat a lot of beans?
