Great report. I have only seen a moose once, and she only stayed for a few minutes. Really cool that you got to see her for so long and leave without scaring her off. Did the dad in the solo canoe at least have a kayak paddle?

Yes, he did have a Kayak paddle and on flat water he was probably the fastest canoe.
