First..awesome photos!!!!

Hopefully your daughter didn’t have serious complications from her bee sting.

Your group dynamic seemed to work great. Loved to hear that the kids planned to paddle their own canoe. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to make camp for 9, I’m sure having hammock campers helped.

Sounds like you all had a rewarding time in the wood

Thanks for sharing

Great trip report.
With a crew that big, it's hard to get everything to work out. It looks like your trip worked out just fine, with just a couple hickups.

She ended up diagnosed with cellulitis and an allergic reaction! They said one more day in and she could have been seriously sick!

Thanks! She did great once we got under way, and the rest of the trip, anytime we where in a canoe we made sure she was the leader of the canoe pack to prevent possible "tippage", lol!

Looks like an adventurous and fun crew. Loved your pictures! What happened with the hand? That was quite a reaction.

No slight intended, but I read through the whole story for updates on the pup and how he handled it all. I would have been chuckling at the landing/put-in but not at the humans--more so at the antics of the dog and how it affected the occupants of the loaded canoe. Enjoyed. Pictures great. Writing great. With a group that large there's bound to be a bit of calamity at times and that's where humor comes into play making it all good for the memories. The captured scene at Johnson Falls was classic. Thanks for sharing.
