You took some stunning pictures. I love the one with one of you standing out on the rocky shore framed by the tree branches. But the one with the plate of hash browns and bacon but no eggs was just so sad looking...haha. Of course, forgetting the bacon would have been much, much worse. Very informative info about the portages and campsites. I hope to travel that area some day.

Thanks! I agree, early and late seasons are my favorite times to be out.
I think you're right. You said you took a swim out in the middle of Little Beartrack so we took your advice and had a little swim ourselves :) I hope you weathered the storm that night and all the rain the following day.
I hope to solo myself one day. I'm always impressed when I see a solo paddler like yourself.

Nice report. Great time to be out. I think I passed you guys on the Little Bear Track to Eugene portage (black solo boat, brown and white dog that is grumpy about new folks).
