Nice fish! I envy you at getting started in the BW earlier and I, too, want to see your partable fishing rod holder. Please post when you have a chance.

Great report and pictures. It sounds like you guys had a great time. I'll bet you already have this year's trip planned. There's nothing like fresh fish from crystal clear waters. My two sons are my fishing buddies. We always enjoy the thrill of fishing and camping in the Boundary Waters. We have a trip planned to Sylvania Wilderness this summer, but hope to get back to Boundary Waters real soon!
