" That's a Yoshi copper mat, sometimes found in the 'As Seen on TV' section at stores. They are very light and work well for us when toasting bread, muffins or brats. They don't like direct flame though so you'll want to keep an eye on the bed of coals. |

We were surprised by the numbers of people we saw, considering we entered on October 2. Maybe since the weather and forecast was good and there were no permit requirements, there were a lot of 'spur of the moment' paddlers. Regardless, it was a great trip! The route is highly recommended if you're able to manage the Horse River with all the portages. |
