Excellent report and a great way to kick off/celebrate your next phase of life. Can't believe how many scouts you ran across. Must have been so rewarding to see all the different territory in one trip?

It was a fun tour of a lot of different places I wouldn't necessarily have connected up into a route. It helped me gain a better understanding of areas I want to spend more time exploring. We tracked back over some of our favorites in 2022 and I need to get going on that trip report next.

I'll write a trip report sometime ;-). Short story is it was late September, first solo trip, I hadn't seen anyone in a few days, really low water, and an unwelcome middle of the night visit from a (probable) moose. I passed through that lake this summer and it still gave me the creeps.

I really enjoyed the details of your report and the pictures. I liked that you covered so much ground/water, but didn't rush through it. It reminds me that trips are about the journey, not the destination. Especially true in the BWCA, as the destination many times is the same place your start from. Looking forward to more reports.
