We've been through there, but never spent much time on Agnes or Lac La Croix due to the crowds later in the year. It's nice to see it as more than a pass through. |

Excellent slide show, as usual. So interesting to see so many swans and not many ducks. Interesting to compare water level at entry and exit, after just a few days. Thanks. |

Freeleo1 - I use a 100-500mm telephoto zoom... it's big and heavy but does the job nicely. Agnes and Lac la Croix are definitely great destinations - how many people you see is a total crap shoot. Boonie - from the beginning of our trip to the end, the water levels dropped about a foot. No doubt with the recent rains the levels are way up again! DRB - if we ran into you, it was probably at a portage. Even though campsite occupancy was low, it seems we ran into other paddlers at every portage. Mocha - it seems we supplemented that meal with fish as well :-) The swans were great... I think we saw at least a couple on every lake but Lac la Croix was just incredible! |
