Thanks for your reply. A cabin sounds like the way to go! So much beauty at the Boundary Waters, great pics are easy to take.

Great report! Thank you! And I am thankful you all made it out safely. I also appreciate you describing exactly what lures were being used for the fish you caught. Three weeks from today will be my long time paddling buddy and I first night out. Hopefully the insect explosion will wane a bit.

An excellent report! Glad you had some fun and glad that you were able to make it out OK. We were at a cabin on Poplar Lake on the Gunflint this past week, and the storm was much more bearable in a cabin, but still quite daunting. No argument about the voracious mosquitoes, either!! We are on our way home; granddaughter is taking inventory of all of the places where she has itchy bites.


Full moon shot is nice. It was a sight to see! We enjoyed seeing it reflected on the lake also.


Overall, I really loved your report and your photos. Thanks for sharing.
