Good luck on your trip. I know there will be challenges, but hope you can surmount them and complete the journey. I'll look forward to hearing all about it. I enjoyed reading "Canoeing with the Cree" many years ago and have read many similar books since then.

Welcome to BWCA.com, I have donated to your quest after becoming aware of it on this site. (Thanks Nojobro) I unfortunately cannot offer any direct input having never done a trip of this amount of time or distance by canoe. I will hopefully be able to live a bit vicariously through your reported efforts. Stay as safe as you can and may the winds stay on your backs. Boppa

Don't thank me. BWPaddler heard about it from paddlefamily in a private board, and BWP posted something on the main board, and that's how SunCatcher had the idea to email them and tell them about this site....I think is how it goes, anyway. A group effort! ;-)

And feel free to school us, before and after. You're off an adventure beyond the reach of most.

Yes, I admit I'm jealous and slapping myself for not doing it when I could have. ;-) I look forward to following your journey.

Groovy! It sounds like a great trip. You're brave to undertake such a long and arduous journey. However, with your seven-week wilderness trip under your PFDs, other than getting bit by bugs and sick of mud, it sounds like you'll fare well.

Welcome to bwca.com!
This isn't the best place on the bwca.com message boards for your post. This forum is used for completed trips where people have written write-ups about the trip they've finished. (I hope you'll post one after your incredible journey). I would take this post here and re-post it into the "trip planning" forum instead, if you'd like a better response to your post.
Good luck!!!

Congrats on completing an outstanding adventure! I hope we get to read an actual report. I didn't see anything on the website for one. I'm sure it would be an interesting read.
