I can't beleive those two stayed in the tent with pancakes cooking the first morning on the lake! I don't care if it was in the 30's and early..lol Thanks for sharing!

Good job Rugbyguy. I enjoyed your report.

How did things turn out for the Rookie? Is he as pumped to come back as you are??

Nice read... Brings back memories of Smallmouth fishing on Weds. bay.

Thanks. How was campsite 1856? Any chance for bobber/leech fishing from the camp?

Thanks for the Trip Report Rugbyguy! I enjoyed reading it. I am glad you and your crew had a great trip. Do you think the rookie will go again? Was it what he expected? Those were a couple of nice walleyes you guys caught. The weather sounded like it was perfect.

The campsite was very nice. Had two nice tent pads with lots of room to wander. I didn't connect with any fish on a bobber from shore, but I think that would be a real possibility. I wouldn't be opposed to camping there on a future trip.

Zulu, I think the rookie will give it another go at some point. A little more leisurely pace on the entry day and he would have been just fine. Still held up well.
