It was a wild ride! I would have liked to written the trip report day by day out of my journal....but a few days had entries of "Wet, cold, and hungry. Still raining and windy. Will check ties on windbreak." The wind ripped one of my tarps. Middle of the night and suddenly my tent is laying on top of me....

nice read...hmmm, June 21st, if I'm not mistaken that was the day of the big wind on our trip...witnessed many trees uprooted or snapped off midway up, water tornados on the lake and white caps being blown off the tops. Yeah, it was a fun one!
