Nice. Thanks for the report; these areas are closer to home for me and it's great to read about them.

Always wanted to fish in that area. How are the real estate prices on lake property?

Super good report Spank. Thank you. I've camped several times in the Sylvania and Clark Lake area with my family to get them up to speed and ready for the BW. Also, the inlaws were living nearby at the time. Great memories for us in the UP.

Spend at least a week a year in the Western UP with inlaws, etc. for 25 years. Toward the end neighbors were just beginning to share some of their secret fishing and hunting spots. Then the folks passed and we too have been passing on to the BWCA.

Thanks again.

This trip sounds allot closer to home for me as well. I go to Eagle River every year, so this can't be much further. It's 12+ hours from Sterling to BW, so I am going to have to do this trip, maybe next summer.

Thanks for that report. I've only been to Sylvania one time, for a day. I want to visit it again. Now you've given me incentive to see other places in the area.
