Well, I don't know where the trip report is, but I'd like to read it. Hope there are some pictures too.


I went down by there on the way back home in Oct - just drove through and stopped briefly.

I live in Northern Indiana and want to make a trip to Big Isle this summer...you didnt mention fishing, that is why i go usually...and for the peace and quiet.


It would be much closer for me to drive there, 9ish hours instead of 14.


Ive got friends that have been there and said when the fishing is on it is incredible but then other times it is just not good at all.


If you know anything about the fishing that would be great, if not, no big deal.

I live about an hour away and have paddled there twice, never fished. What type of fishing have you heard being incredible? Looks like a panfish and bass kind of habitat.
