Yes, they are "wild" deer. Somewhat tame and very well fed from the corn. They roam freely and hide up in the woods around the lodge and spend alot of time "begging" in front of your cabin.

What a neat experience. Sounds like a very enjoyable trip. I like the winter months when you the scenery very different from what is seen in the summer.
