loved your trip report! the B's are neat to explore and i was surprised to read your description of Fern.. that is exactly how we described it as we paddled through. the portage to oliphaunt is memorable.. did you see the dam on pickerel?


seems like your 9 days flew by. thanks for your trip!

i have never been that far north in the Q,thanks for the look.
i have been to split rock falls when the water was much lower,in your shots it just looked like big rapids!

Mocha,
We did see the dam on Pickerel and one of the shots was taken there. If I was more capable with making reports it would be labeled as such. I was very surprised to see the dam.

WCD, Unbelievable volume of water at all the outlets, inlets and falls. Even though it impeded our progress it was awesome to experience.
