Wow, very cool, very impressive. I didn't know you could do that route (without some super-super crazy effort beyond even what you guys did). Nice adventure!

I was wondering as I read the report whether the place where the creek "disappears" was actually a divide with creeks flowing in opposite directions in the same valley. But I guess you paid attention to the current (in fact, you used it to find the best route), so you would know if that was the case.

Thanks for the report!

Holy, you two sure are not afraid of moving around... good for you!

I know I am late to the party on this trip report but spring is getting to me and I needed to go back in the annals of BWCA trip reports to help me get through to summer or least warmer spring weather. Thanks for sharing.

Great report. What brave souls you are for tackling an unknown portage. Loved listening to the loons. I closed my eyes and pictured myself back on Oyster last summer hearing the chorus of calls.
Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Why don't you post your report here, instead of having me go to some other website. just like talking on your phone in front of people , just to be heard, you think you need to stand out. Next time why don't you just twitter your whole trip.

That was very nice. Good pics too! It's amazing how adventurous you can make a trip and not really going into the interior but just going to places where others don't. Kudos on going down Pagami creek.

Thanks for the story!

Great report! Reading about Pagami Creek seeming to vanish in the grass reminded me of the scene from African Queen where Bogie was pulling the boat toward the lake! What an adventure!

The link in my report appears to have broken. Here's a link that should work...

I had already written the report for another purpose. The effort to upload every picture again and reconstruct the report was a waste of time. If you don't like following links, don't do it. I don't twitter...
