cappiest thing I forgot was to take keys out of pickup and I locked it on the door button and went canoeing, got back and the keys were locked in the pickup :)

Glad you had a trip and enjoyed it carmike, but...don't forget the camera next time - I like pictures in a trip report :).

Yeah, I have *no* idea how I forgot that much stuff. Pretty stupid.

And yes, I also much prefer reports with photos. I just figure the lack of photos prevents some people from reading about my idiocy. :)

Enjoyed your report. It sounds like you packed everything on the list, but forgot to put it in the car. I've almost done that...which is why I now have a car packing checklist to make sure everything I packed gets put in the car :).

quote cooke350: "and drinking Nescafe with sugar in it. This "coffee" is undrinkable when not in a third-world country or in the woods, but on a windy point with a good book in the Boundary Waters, it tastes...well, still crappy.

LOL that was good!"

Yes, it was frustrating to get home and see everything I'd *not* packed still neatly organized, boxed up, and ready to go. At least this trip putting things away was a bit easier...now I know everything is clean, folded, and ready to go. :)
