Confirmed sightings of Robins in my area.

Just west of Chicago, I've been seeing chickadees, nuthatches, blue jays, red-breasted woodpeckers, cardinals, junkos, house sparrows and finches, the occasional cooper's hawk, and gold finches. But these have been here most of the winter. Missing this year are great horned owls, downy woodpeckers, and mourning doves. Looking forward to spring.

I'm a couple of hours south of you airmorse and we've had robins all winter this year for the first time. It was really odd to walk outside at 10 below and see robins in the trees.
Sandhill cranes have been headed north this week. I saw (and heard) a few smaller flocks merge into one big one last Sunday afternoon and head north. That's always such a neat thing to witness.
We started the winter with regular visits by a Cooper's hawk, but we're finishing the winter with regular visits by a red tailed hawk.

Hard to believe that Winter is almost over.
The last few weeks I have noticed that there are more birds in my area. NW Indiana.
Morning song has increased as well.
The Black Cap Chickidees, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Flickers are singing their mating songs already. Yesterday I heard the call of a Red Wing Black bird. No Robins as of yet.
