Coincidentally enough, we saw our first tonight to....a small male.....on our backyard feeder.

Saw my first hummer today, after the rain moved out. Little ruby throat. It seems to me that this is the latest I can recall. I have had the feeder out for two weeks, was wondering where they were. Must have been the cold weather.

They showed up last 2 days.....35 miles south of Madison. We had put the feeder up last week.

I heard of some local sighting, so I hung my 2 feeder up. So far nothing visiting other than a couple orioles who seem more interested in hummingbird nectar than in the grape jelly and orange slices on my oriole feeder. I live in Southern MN.

McHenry County, IL - Have one tiny one and one a little larger the last week at the hummingbird feeders. Ruby throated. Love those little guys. Orioles attacking the hummer feeders too for the sugar water too.

Any sightings yet. I have had my feeder out for about two weeks and no takers yet. With the cool weather we have been having they seem to be running a little behind.

None that I have seen yet. Hung mine about a week ago. I'm south of the Twin Cities.

We have a resident species, Anna's, here (Calif.) so we leave our feeder out all year. Besides, some of us have flying squirrels and they will visit the feeders.
