Gray Catbird - annoying distraction when looking for the real thing among the warblers and such 2. Brown Thrasher - Cyndi Lauper on hallucinogens 1. Northern Mockingbird - the true artiste in the bunch and the only one that has made me burst into laughter at its virtuosity and range |

What you can't see from that crap photo was a red patch at the base of its tail on its underside. That identifies it as a Grey Catbird. It is a new bird to my backyard and ate the crap out of that orange half I have out for the Orioles. Thanks for the response! |
